. . . was born and raised in Novato, California. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University and his doctorate degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1978.

Before starting his practice in Windsor, Dr. Stafford served as chief surgeon for a large veterinary hospital in the Sacramento area. The rural area of Sonoma County drew him to Windsor in 1983 when he opened Lakewood Hills Veterinary Clinic. Growth of his practice led to moving the practice to a larger facility designed to meet the specialized needs of veterinary medicine. He now practices as Township Animal Hospital.

Dr. Stafford's commitment to continuing education assures his clients their pets receive the benefit of the latest findings and advances in veterinary medicine.

State of the art equipment furnishes his hospital and only top grade anesthetic, surgical, radiographic and diagnostic equipment are used.

Township Animal Hospital is a full service hospital featuring Dr. Stafford's Life-gard Health Maintenance Program, a comprehensive puppy and kitten through geriatric plan of health maintenance and monitoring to meet your dog's or cat's ongoing developmental needs.

Coastal Veterinary Service addresses the veterinary needs of Sonoma Coast pet owners who Dr. Stafford serves through this home call practice.
